The Parish Adult Choir

The Adult Choir of Our Lady Queen of Croatia Parish

The Adult Choir of Our Lady Queen of Croatia Parish sings at the 11:00 am Mass each Sunday during the choir season of September through June and rehearses Thursday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:00pm. Additionally, it sings for other liturgical celebrations as required throughout the church year. The Choir is made up of singers from the community who possess requisite musical skills and a commitment to the established schedule of rehearsals and services. In addition, being part of a singing community is fun and the Choir of Our Lady Queen of Croatia is no exception—we enjoy singing and we enjoy one another.
The choir’s mission is to join with the congregation in actively contributing musically to liturgical celebrations as well as enriching these celebrations by adding musical elements which are beyond the capabilities of the congregation alone. If you would like to be part of our choir please contact Loris Buzdon (choir director).  We look forward to hearing from you. Our rehearsals are help up in the balcony and will begin on Thursday September 22nd.

Mr. Loris Buzdon

The repertoire of the choir varies from Gregorian chant and traditional hymnody to contemporary music. While experienced singers are welcome, beginners are strongly encouraged to join: this volunteer group is an excellent opportunity for those who have never sung in a choir before to learn the basics of choral singing and church music. Further information is available from the Director of Music, Loris Buzdon.
