The Parish Choir
The Our Lady Queen of Croatia Choir sings at the 11:00 a.m. Mass in Croatian every Sunday morning throughout the year, and at a number of Masses on Solemnities and special parish events. The choir, which currently has approximately 20 members, rehearses each Thursday evening from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the choir loft of the Church.
The repertoire of the choir varies from Gregorian chant and traditional hymnody to contemporary music. While experienced singers are welcome, beginners are strongly encouraged to join: this volunteer group is an excellent opportunity for those who have never sung in a choir before to learn the basics of choral singing and church music.
